Today at school I asked the kids what they did during their 2 week "ski" vacation. One girl told me she went to Fargo, North Dakota (BS), one kid told me he won a trip to Atlanta to watch a WWE match (BS), and the rest of the kids just listed the 900 video games they played. One of the popular girls told me she spent her vacation going on Facebook and smoking hashish. I tried to warn her about internet predators but sometimes it is hard to convey stuff like that in a foreign language so I just told her there are lying criminals on Facebook and she should never go meet up with them alone. One kid said he went skiing.
This is a class of fourth graders, so the kids are nine years old.
