One of the teachers I work with had me do a project where the kids were supposed to make their own British flag by drawing all the different crosses and coloring them and gluing it together. None of the kids were able to do it and now most of them think I am British and commute to work from the UK every day. I did commute to work from the UK on Monday.
Buckingham Palace.
Gate.
Fantastical unicorn.
Flag.
Dad: "Do I look ok?" Me: "Probably. You would have to zoom in pretty close to see if you are making your usual photo face."
St. James' Palace.
Horse butts.
Where time is made.
Sweet protesting strategy: sleep/get stoned in a tent all day next to a provocative sign.
St. Margaret's Church.
Westminster Abbey. Dad: "I didn't remember that it was so cluttered with graves."
Vivienne Westwood store. Dad: "You should get something." Me: "That hideous tote bag is on sale for 180 pounds. I think it's the cheapest thing in the store."
It says "deja-brew."
Dad: "It's pretty neat they turned an old power plant into an art museum." Me: "Yeah I'm so glad they saved the most hideous building in the world from being demolished." It adds a nice foreboding touch to the skyline.
Beautiful lamppost/ you can tell he's not really running because both his feet are on the ground at the same time.
St. Paul's Cathedral.
Coolest painting I saw in the power plant.
It's nice to know Tom Cruise gets out of southern California sometimes.
This is in Paris. I think it means "this way to the tourist trap."
If you try to climb out of the nonexistent window in this corrugated metal wall Karl Lagerfeld will totally catch you with his sophisticated Chanel brand radar.
What the hell is this movie called in the US? It can't really be Sex Friends that is way too ridiculous. The tag-line is "Peut-on ĂȘtre sex friends et rester best friends ?" which means "Can you be sex friends and stay best friends?" It's weird when American movies come here and they change the name to something else in English, like the Will Ferrell cop movie was "Very Bad Cops" in France instead of "The Other Guys." I guess they probably wanted to remove all the th's from the title. I expect Sex Friends to be even better than Black Swan.
dude the tagline for that movie IS the same in the US. But I looked it up and its called "No Strings Attached"... So that is different.
